Raptoar und Twang - Die Anfänge seiner tiefen Bindung zur Hip Hop Kultur entstanden bei Raptoar um die Jahrtausendwende. Über verschiedene Stile wie Freestyle und Storytelling kam er zu schwerem Battlerap, ohne aber je Metaphern und Wortspiele außer Acht zu lassen.
Twang - selbst aus dem Gefilde des Hip Hop - hat sich nach einem experimentell und elektronisch angehauchten Soloprojekt wieder in einem Duo eingefunden und besticht sogar als DJ mit Wortgewandtheit.
Das Album „Roar“ selbst gleicht einem Manifest. Raptoar und Twang schaffen es in diesem Werk Qualität und Quantität zu vereinen - 1000 Zeilen der Gegenwart - das Requiem an authentischen Rap. Der Release entstand in knapp eineinhalb Jahren und besteht aus zehn Nummern zu jeweils hundert Zeilen, was einer Gesamtlänge von rund dreiundfünfzig Minuten entspricht. Die Kooperation mit verschiedenen Produzenten, wie Dokta GC (ANT|Tonträger Rec.), UFO beats (rugged inc), Diggamindz (illmindz), Stixx, Megga (Tonträger Rec.), Kartal (LRSZ), Twang (Tonträger Rec.), Szenario und Sascha Selke, schenkte dem Album seine musikalische Vielfalt und Detailbetontheit. „Roar“ bewegt sich im Bereich Urban Art und bildet eine Verbindung aus Lyrik und Sprechgesang im Salzburger Dialekt
